Who Are We?

With each passing year, the number of students applying to colleges overseas is rapidly increasing, which makes it more challenging for students to get into their dream colleges. Kaynak College Counseling helps students uniquely demonstrate a college’s definition of “fit” with the most compelling windows into their lives to increase their chances of getting into their top college choices.

We aim to guide students in the best possible way by creating a step-by-step roadmap that will help them get accepted into their best college fits, which will lead to a successful college experience. We advise students on all steps of the college application process and how to prepare for it; from what career paths would interest and suit them to which colleges to apply to and how.

We have face-to face meetings with the student and family to learn as much as possible about a student’s background and suitability to particular courses and universities: where their interests lie, where they will be a good fit, what they would like to do after university, their current achievements, etc. The education roadmap we create for each student minimizes the stress the student might feel during this process. We realize how stressful this process could be, both for the student and for the family. So, we make sure the students know what the next step is and that they are not falling behind.

Kaynak College Counseling is here to ease the college preparation and application process by holding your hand through every step of the way.

WHY GET COUNSELING BEFORE 12TH GRADE?

Many students do not know exactly what career paths each major leads to. A student might think they want to study engineering but do not know that now there are more than 30 different kind of engineering degrees. All focus on different areas of engineering and it is crucial to explore each degree and the career paths it might lead to. For example, if a student is between a couple different engineering degrees it would be helpful for her to find relevant internships to see which one would be more suitable for her.

There are so many undergraduate degrees in various fields that students might not be aware of. It is important to understand what the student’s skills are, where her interest lie and explore all suitable fields for her.

After the student explores different majors that interest her and understand possible career paths, she is able to make a logical decision that will lead to her success in college.

When the major in mind is clearer, we can create a more accurate roadmap for the student to follow in order to build the academic and non-academic foundation needed for the chosen field of study.

All majors and programs have differing requirements from students, therefore knowing the field of study will help the student gain a better direction.
